About This Spot

Stepping into Rokka’s Market in Windermere feels like discovering a hidden nook where the rhythms of daily life slow just enough to savor simple, genuine pleasures. The air carries a quiet hum of anticipation — a blend of fresh bread warming in the bakery, the bright, textured colors of fruits and vegetables piled high, and the comforting scent of home-style cooking weaving through the aisles.

This is not your usual supermarket experience. Here, each corner invites exploration: from the richly aromatic cold cuts and handcrafted pastries to an ever-changing selection of dishes that whisk you to the heart of Brazil and beyond. The pace is unhurried, as if everyone is sharing a collective appreciation for the vibrant cultural tapestry that the market reflects.

The market’s charm is in the way it brings together diverse culinary traditions under one roof. Whether you pause by the Brazilian buffet to taste something fragrant and soulful, or browse the shelves for that elusive Latin specialty that sparks a memory of home, there’s a softly resonant feeling of connection and discovery. It’s easy to see why many return again and again — drawn not just by the quality of what’s offered but by the warmth and attentiveness of the people behind the counters, ready to guide you with quiet knowledge and genuine care.

Rokka’s feels like a gathering place where the joy of food weaves through everyday moments — a market that honors both tradition and the everyday pleasure of small, flavorful discoveries. It’s an invitation to explore, to linger, and to feel a little closer to places and people that matter.

I’m so excited to have found authentic Venezuelan products from Los Andes Food at Rokka’s! As a big fan of cachapas, it’s been tough to find anything that really captures that home flavor, but Los Andes Food has totally nailed it. The cachapas are absolutely delicious—it's rare to find something this good around here! I really appreciate that this market carries a great variety of Latin products, especially from Los Andes Food, which brings us that taste of Venezuela we miss so much. From queso de mano to crema de leche for the perfect cachapa topping, it feels like a little piece of Venezuela right here in Windermere. The flavors are on point, and the quality is amazing. It’s such a treat to enjoy these authentic products without having to travel far! If you’re Venezuelan or just love Latin food, don’t miss out on these products. Thank you, Los Andes Food, and thank you, Rokka’s, for bringing a taste of Venezuela to our area. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Loved this place…so many options to choose from. Very very clean, and workers are very friendly and helpful. I found this place while looking for small cake for my husband’s birthday. Even though I don’t speak the language, they guided me through the store to get exactly what I needed to celebrate him….he absolutely loved it…so I took him by My husband was transported back home…everything Brazil in one big place.

I love Rokka’s products. Their confectionery and bakery are produced in-house, the butcher’s shop is perfect, everything you expect to find in a quality supermarket.

What an incredible experience I had at Rokkas last night, indulging in their sushi dinner! After 8 years in the U.S., I can confidently say that this is the best Japanese-Brazilian cuisine I’ve encountered. Being from São Paulo, I found the dishes authentically reminiscent of my favorite Japanese restaurants back home. The Temaki here stands out with its generous serving of fresh fish, breaking away from the all-too-common small size half-empty ‘80% rice’ issue seen elsewhere. Their hot rolls and shimeji are simply out of this world - boasting exceptional quality, perfect portion sizes, and fair prices. Kudos to the sushi chefs, you all are doing an outstanding job!! A special shoutout to the team for their excellent customer service. I’m sorry I forgot her name (it started with a ‘T’ ), but she, alongside the other waiter, provided service that was nothing short of delightful. I am definitely making plans to return and this time, I’ll be bringing friends and family along. Fantastic job, Rokkas!

The Rokkas Supermart self-service lunch is an excellent choice for anyone looking for fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared food. The dishes are always varied and never reheated. I especially enjoy Fridays, when they serve fish and seafood options — always cooked just right and very tasty. It’s a great option for all ages, whether for a quick weekday lunch or to enjoy with the family. Highly recommend for the quality, variety, and great service!

Excellent choice for Brazilian groceries, but also not bad for groceries in general. All of the prices seemed reasonable for a small business. More exotic items were a little expensive, but staples like chicken breasts are about the same as Publix. I was very impressed by the selection of meats and the service from the butcher. They have a large bakery section and restaurant, as well, but I haven't had a change to explore them yet. The restaurant always seems busy, though, which I assume is a good sign!
